On September 9, 2004, a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Spokane Parks & Recreation Department and the Heritage Gardens Trust was signed thereby creating an official alliance between the parties that provides a formal agreement to work towards common goals for the preservation, restoration, management and endowment of the Moore-Turner Heritage Garden.

The Hamblen Park Garden Club recently donated 10 Gruss An Anchen roses that have been planted along the path from the new entrance. See the photo on the right.

There have been some big improvements to the Corbin Garden area, including new paths, benches, and a new handicapped accessible water fountain. Check out photos here.

In February, DietzHartlage Landscape Architecture completed an extensive Cultural Landscape Report on the Moore-Turner Garden. This detailed report contains numerous recommendations for a combination of preservation, and restoration of these historic Victorian and Arts & Crafts Style gardens. All that stands between now and completion is funding!

	The Spokane Parks Department oversees the maintenance of the Corbin & Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens. In additions, their web page offers a nice detailed history of the gardens in .pdf format.
	The Garden Conservancy has been providing much assistance to the Heritage Gardens.
	Lakewold Gardens is another historic public garden in Washington.
	Spokane Preservation Advocates, Spokane's hands-on historic preservation group, has played a role in cleaning and preserving the Corbin & Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens.
	The National Trust supported the Gardens with a $3000 grant.
